Pier 88 might have officially lost us...

Y’all… I think we just found our new boil-in-a-bag spot. 🦀🔥 The wife and I have been faithful Pier 88 people for YEARS, but lately, I just feel like it hasn’t been hitting the same. So when everybody kept talking about Jenny’s Seafood, we decided to see what the hype was about—and DoorDashed it straight to the house. From the moment we opened the delivery, I was impressed. Jenny’s came with their own branded insulated packaging, gloves, bibs, wet wipes, knives, forks, and pretty much EVERYTHING you need to have the full seafood-boil experience at home. And honestly, that attention to detail spoke volumes. They clearly put thought into making sure the food arrives fresh and that the at-home experience still feels like what you’d get in the restaurant. Now let’s talk about that FLAVOR. 👏🏾 We did the Jenny’s Special seasoning in medium, and BABYYYY… it was GOOD. And when I say they give you sauce?! I mean MUKBANG LEVEL SAUCE. 😂🦀 You know those videos where people are dipping their seafood back into all that delicious buttery sauce? THAT’S what we had going on. I could’ve finished the entire seafood boil and still had enough sauce left to put on another meal. The potatoes are a little different too. They use these small roasted baby potatoes, which I actually loved because they’re basically bite-sized. No cutting up a giant potato while your hands are covered in seafood seasoning. 😂 The corn is also cut in half, and the crab leg bag I ordered came with potatoes, corn and an egg. Now, if you’re somebody who LOVES the extras—especially vegetables and eggs—you’ll probably want to add more because the included portions are pretty modest. We also tried the peach bubble tea, and that was REALLY good. 🍑🧋 The key lime pie? Meh. 😂 It wasn’t anything to write home about. But honestly… you don’t go to Jenny’s for the pie. You go for the seafood. And the seafood? YES. The flavor, the sauce, the packaging, the little details, the delivery experience—and even the price point compared to Pier 88—I felt like Jenny’s gave us more for our money.
