Can $1 STORE supplies make a VIRAL squishy?! 😭

Could I make a VIRAL squishy using ONLY things from the dollar store?? 😭 I’ve been buying and testing so many viral squishies that I wanted to see if I could actually recreate that super satisfying texture myself without using any actual squishy supplies. The rule is EVERYTHING has to come from the dollar store, from the filling and crunchy texture all the way down to whatever we use to seal it. 💀 First mission was finding the filling. I grabbed Chillberry marshmallow because I wanted something soft and stretchy, plus this ice cream floosh that apparently has a really good texture. Then we needed CRUNCH, so I started looking at aquarium pebbles before realizing the toy aisle might have something way better. I found these tiny flat pink pieces that should give us that crunchy bead-filled squishy texture without being too bulky. Then I grabbed flexible super glue to seal everything together and Vaseline to experiment with the filling and make it extra smooth and squishy. At this point, we basically had our entire DIY squishy recipe… except for one tiny problem. WE HAD NO SQUISHY SKIN. 😭 Not ONE squishy at the first dollar store. So obviously we went to another one, only for them to tell us they’re so sold out they aren’t getting more until the END OF THE MONTH. 💀 Now I have all the ingredients for my dollar store viral squishy and absolutely nothing to put them inside. Do we improvise with a balloon? Do we somehow create our own squishy skin? Either way, I’m not giving up.
