You've been curling every workout. Your arms still look like coat hangers. It's because your biceps only make up about a third of your upper arm. Meanwhile, the biggest muscle in your arm has been sitting there, completely ignored. Let me fix that. You absolutely need decent biceps, but if your goal is big arms, your triceps are doing most of the work. That's the muscle that actually gives your arm that thick look. Take a look at these two arms. Same biceps, different triceps. See the difference? Now, here's where almost everyone gets it wrong, even if you're training your triceps, you're probably not training the part that matters most for size. One head contributes far more to that thick arm look than the others. Ignore it, and your arms will stay smaller than your excuses for skipping leg day. In this video, I'll show you the perfect triceps workout to train every head with a special focus on the one that makes the biggest visual difference. And if you train at home, don't worry. I'll also give you bodyweight alternatives. So you officially have no excuses. Before we jump into the workout, you need to understand what you're actually trying to grow. Triceps (three heads). Triceps literally means three heads. Three separate sections of muscle that make up the back of your arm. First, the lateral head. That's the outer part. The one that gives you that famous horseshoe shape when you flex. Then you have the medial head. Smaller and deeper, closer to your elbow. It's not the flashiest one, but it's involved in almost every pressing movement. And finally, the long head. It's the biggest of the three by far, which means the muscle with the biggest potential to make your arm look bigger is also the one most people train wrong.
