Non negotiable money habits if you're trying to get your money right before the end of the year. One, use a credit card for everyday purchases so you're getting cash back and rewards on the money you're spending anyway, and then pay it off before the end of the month. Two, set a budget and stick to it. Budgets are only work if you actually use them. Three, live below your means. Even if you start making more money, don't go spend it on flash and status. Make sure you are living below your means and putting that extra money towards things that are going to make you more money. Four, treat investing like a bill. This will train your perspective on it to be less I should put my money there and more I have to put my money there. This one is so slept on, but is such a good gem. Put your money that you're making throughout the month, as you're working and you're getting your paychecks, in a high yield savings account so you earn interest on that money all throughout the month. You should be putting on that credit card, your high yield savings account at the end of the month. That way your money is accruing interest and you're literally making free money by leaving it in that high yield savings account throughout the month. Let's keep this going in the comments.
