Promoted product

Poppi

Why it worked

The video effectively integrates product promotion into a relatable lifestyle context (road trip). The creators highlight the product's benefits (low sugar, prebiotics) in a natural way, making it appealing to viewers seeking healthier alternatives.

Summary

Two friends are on a 48-hour road trip and stop at a 7-Eleven to pick up their favorite Poppi drinks. They highlight the low sugar and prebiotic ingredients, and pair the drinks with onigirazu sandwiches for their journey.

Structure

1Starting a road trip
2Stopping for snacks
3Purchasing Poppi drinks
4Discussing Poppi's benefits
5Enjoying drinks and food on the road

Product placement

Poppi (drink): ACTS - it is purchased, consumed, and discussed as a beverage. Removing it would change the video's focus on refreshment and healthy alternatives. Poppi (drink): APPEARS - it is visible on shelves and in the hands of the creators. Removing it would not change the video's narrative, but would remove the product being promoted. 7-Eleven (convenience store): APPEARS - it is the location where the Poppi drinks are purchased. Removing it would not change the video's narrative, but would remove the context of the purchase.
