ACC (Animal Care Centers of NYC)
We strive to find loving homes for homeless and abandoned cats, dogs, and rabbits.
Why it worked
The video effectively uses emotional storytelling by focusing on Rubia's challenging circumstances and her resilient, loving personality. This, combined with a clear call to action and an incentive (waived fees and gift card), creates a compelling case for adoption.
Summary
This video introduces Rubia, a one-year-old dog surrendered to Manhattan ACC. Despite being born deaf and with vision differences, Rubia is described as a sweet, silly, and loving dog who is learning her manners. The video highlights that dogs in the pop-up crates at ACC have waived adoption fees and include a $50 Chewy gift card, encouraging viewers to adopt.

Rubia (260335) is adoptable at Manhattan ACC! https://nycacc.app/#/browse/260335 Meet Rubia, the girl who proves that nothing can dim a bright personality. Though she's deaf and has some vision differences, she's full of love, always ready for pets, playtime, and her favorite toys. She'd love an active family who will keep her busy with adventures and enrichment. Whether she's leaning in for pets, carrying around her favorite toy, or joining you for the day's adventures, Rubia is happiest when she's with her people. She's ready to show her future family that a few differences only make her even more special. ✨ Pop-Up Promo: Rubia's adoption fee is waived, and she'll also go home with a $50 @Chewy gift card!
