Hook
Top 3 Moves To Beat Your Defender Off The Dribble Number one, Cross Jab. This move is so great because you're forcing your defender to process two things at once. You're shifting the ball to one side of your body while taking a hard step and moving your shoulders the opposite direction. Defenders are always taught to read the body. So they're going to go with your shoulders and with your step, but that's the fake. You're actually going where you just shifted the ball. So if you master this move, you'll be able to beat your defender in the half court and transition whenever you want. Number two, In and Outs. We as offensive players more often than not turn the ball over when changing hands or when changing our leg. But with an in and out, you don't have to change hands at all. You can just sell that crossover, get your shoulders down, really lean like you're going into that cross and then fake it, go the opposite direction. Number three, and over the top Push Cross. If you get a change of pace down with your push cross, and you learn to vary up your speed, you are going to be unguardable. I love over the top crossovers like an Iverson crossover because you're not having to play side to side. You want to play north, south. These three moves, I wish I added them to my bag way sooner. They are very effective if you master them.
