we're in Paris trying the most famous chocolate mousse in the entire world this is Chez Janou their chocolate mousse is so popular CHEF JANOU that they even had to change their rules in order to get it you can no longer go in there and simply order the chocolate mousse the restaurant now requires you to order an entree to get it kick things off the classic French way with a basket of bread I'm not kidding when I say that might have been the fluffiest most flavorful bread I've ever had from a restaurant I ended up asking for their most popular dish on the menu which she told me was their duck it comes roasted and served with this red wine sauce and potatoes while I do think that it was good I don't think that it lived up to that I've seen on social media it was tender and juicy I just felt like it lacked a lot of flavor so I decided to move on to what we're really here for the chocolate mousse it's served tableside and then plopped onto your plate now this is something that I do think is worth the hype it's creamy chocolatey perfectly rich and for the price it's a really good portion size but the real question is with all the other chocolate mousse in the city is it worth ordering an entire entree to get I did an entire chocolate mousse tour of Paris which you guys will see very soon and I can confirm that this is not the best chocolate mousse that you can get in Paris but it is up there with one of the best and definitely worth a try the next time you're in Paris
