Why it worked

The video uses a relatable scenario of spontaneous travel planning between friends, with a humorous twist of one friend already enjoying luxury perks, which creates a sense of FOMO and aspirational travel.

Summary

The video shows a conversation between two friends planning a spontaneous trip to Paris. One friend is already at the airport, having upgraded their flights to Delta One, which includes massages and an open bar, much to the surprise of the other friend.

Structure

1Planning a spontaneous trip
2Discussing travel details and payment
3Friend reveals upgraded flight experience
4Second friend rushes to join

Product placement

Apple Pay: it is used to send money between friends. Removing it would change the way the money is sent. Delta: it is an airline that the creator is flying with. Removing it would change the travel plans. It merely appears as a flight upgrade option.

POV: Your friend is also bougie so you can be yourself

Hello Hey girl, are you busy? I'm at work but I can quit. What's up? Okay, so I was wondering if you wanted to go on a trip? Absolutely, yes. I'm gonna go pack right now. Oh damn, I didn't even say where we're going yet. You know I don't care, but fine. Where are we going? Okay, so I was thinking we could go to Paris for the week. Absolutely, yes. I'll be ready in two hours. You take Apple Pay or PayPal? Apple Pay is fine. Okay, just sent it. Damn, that was that was fast. Bro, I'm ready to go. I'm planning the itinerary. Is there anything that you want to do while we're there? I'm open to anything. So whatever you want, it's fine. Do you want to go to any restaurants or anything? I like the same things. So I trust your discretion. Okay, alright. Then I'll just pack different outfit options. Okay, I'll just see you there. Hello Hey, I'm calling to see what time your flight is to the airport. So I'm about to leave the house right now. Oh, you're already here? I've been here for three hours. Three hours? What have you been doing? Well, I upgraded us to Delta One and they have free massages in the Delta One lounge and an open bar. Open bar? All right, all right. I'm on my way. All right. Bye.
