You're not stuck because you can't let go. You're stuck because you're trying to hold on and let go at the same time. That double grip is exactly what's tearing you apart. I'm not trying to be cruel. I'm trying to be kind, compassionate, while hold you accountable. You deleted the pictures, but you kept the ones that mattered. You said, I'm done, but you answered. On the first ring, you prayed, “God, remove them from my heart." while leaving the door cracked just in case they come back. You're walking forwards with your neck turned backwards. That doesn't make any sense. That's why your healing literally feels like you're going nowhere because you're going in two directions at once. That's the story of Lot's wife. God himself pulled her family out of a burning city. Her feet were moving towards safety, but her heart never left. One look back, and she turned into a pillar of salt. She made it out of the city, but the city never made it out of her. Jesus thought this mattered so much that he said three powerful words in Luke 17. "Remember Lot's wife!" God can deliver you from anything. Except the very thing you keep turning back to look at. Half surrender isn't surrendering. Letting go isn't a feeling you wait for. It's a direction you choose.
