So, against my will, I now know about that queen opp person with the autistic child. I now know about that queen opp person with the autistic child. And I hate to break it to a lot of people, but, like, the inclusion of disabled people on social media, um, parents showing their life with a disabled child and all that inclusion and all that stuff, that is fairly new, even cultural. Even for cultural standards, the way we talk about and approach disabled people, relatively new. Over a decade and a half of doing this work, I've come across, like, dozens and dozens and dozens of disabled people have told me that their parents speak to them exactly like that woman is speaking to her child. She's just being more overt and more public than most people would be on the internet. The disdain that some parents of disabled kids have for their disabled children is palpable, but particularly because a lot of parents feel as though their child's disability is a reflection on them. And I don't mean like, genetically. I don't mean like, oh, my god, I passed this down on purpose, whatever the fuck you all are thinking, right? I mean, quite literally, they see a child having a disability as a poor reflection on them. And when you add, oh, you gave your child that disability, things become extremely, extremely dangerous. And particularly, we live in an era where disability, like a passing out of disabled disability from parent to child, is primarily being blamed on women. This is why whenever people bring up my Christian rock video, which has been popping off lately, probably because of this, but whenever people bring up, oh, she should be accountable to her child, she should make an apology. She should do. Da da da, My concern is not everybody's call for accountability, because let's be honest, a lot of people don't want accountability. They want a show. The second thing is that when you push the lever trying to call for accountability, trying to tell a parent they should be held accountable for producing a disabled child, that child's life is in danger. That child's life is in real danger. And it's not a joke. I don't give a fuck if you all get to see him and. and comment and share a video of Chris Brown or any parent saying that I shouldn't have brought my child into the world. I don't care. What I care about is them being pressured in such a way that they will take that out then on their own child. And that's. That. That's what's not clicking to a lot of people. But parents who have a disdain for their disabled child can be very, very dangerous to that disabled child. That's not a joke. That's like, he's been. That's. There's a list.
