THE PHILIPPINE MARINE CORPS' BRAHMOS SUPERSONIC ANTI-SHIP MISSILE SYSTEM HAS BEEN SPOTTED, AS DELIVERIES ARE ONGOING. 🇵🇭🇮🇳🚀 | Looks like the final batch of the Philippines' BrahMos Supersonic Anti-ship Missile System has been spotted somewhere, as deliveries are ongoing. In a closer look, the new BrahMos missile loader truck is now painted with the Philippine Marine Corps' standard digital camouflage. It would be remembered that Philippine Ambassador to India, Amb. Josel F Ignacio has announced that deliveries for the Philippines' BrahMos Missile Systems are currently ongoing. This is the first-ever close up video of the Philippine Marine Corps' BrahMos Missile System's missile loader. The Philippines signed the contract with India for three batteries of BrahMos Missile System for $375 million. There are negotiations for follow up purchase of BrahMos Missile System, according to Indian sources. The first BrahMos batteries were delivered in April 2024. A battery usually consists of three to six launchers along with monitoring and tracking components and logistics support vehicles. The BrahMos cruise missile can be launched from a ship, aircraft, submarine or land; has a top speed of around Mach 2.8 (3,400 km per hour); and is capable of carrying warheads weighing 200 to 300 kilograms. This weapon platform is expected to address the country’s military weaknesses and vulnerabilities in sea control, anti-access/area-denial, and coastal and island defense operations.
