Vanguard have released three new ETFs for UK investors this week. But everyone, including myself, is talking about VALL, that's their FTSE Global All Cap ETF. And already I've seen a lot of demand for it and I'm seeing a lot of people putting their money into this fund. And I've got no issues with that. I think it's going to be a fantastic product. It's going to have fantastic diversification and a ridiculously low fee at 0.07%. And I think a lot of people looking at that, I need to be invested in this new ETF. It's cheaper than my own VWRP, but in my opinion, and it is just my opinion, it's not financial advice, the fee isn't the biggest driver of performance. It's gonna be what this ETF is invested in. With the FTSE Global All Cap, it has large and mid cap stocks, but interestingly, this fund also has small cap stocks. It means it has a lot more stocks in it, about 7,000. If we compare it to the popular ETF VWRP, that doesn't have small cap stocks, it only has large and mid cap stocks. And so this will create a difference in the performance of both funds. If we compare the indexes, I can't compare the ETFs cause VALL is so new. You'll actually see that the All World Index, FTSE All-World Index (Large & Mid Cap) has had a slightly better performance than the Global All Cap Index. Now, of course, past performance doesn't guarantee future returns, but you're gonna have to consider whether you want exposure to small cap stocks. And if you do, then of course, Vanguard's new ETF could be a great product for you.
