Sure, store-bought pineapple soda is good but this homemade version is on another level and WAY better than Fanta. It's bright, tropical, naturally fizzy, and the carbonation is intense but completely natural thanks to a ginger bug. The best part it's made without adding extra sugar, sweeteners or colors. welcome back to my Homemade Soda Series I show you how to make gut-friendly soda from scratch. This week we're making Tropical Pineapple Soda. Fresh pineapple is already naturally sweet so you don't need to add any extra sugar. It has enough natural the soda perfectly sweet and to feed the microbes As those microbes feed on the sugar they produce carbon dioxide which creates that beautiful natural carbonation made through fermentation you're not just getting bubbles you're getting beneficial microbes and organic acids giving your homemade soda that gut-friendly quality you don't get from regular soda. For this one I blended fresh pineapple with water strain it then add it to a fermentation-safe bottle with my active ginger bug. to make the flavor even more tropical I added organic coconut water, contains natural sugars. Together an incredibly fizzy flavorful soda. It only needs a day or two to ferment at room temperature. Then chill it overnight to calm the pressure. Open it slowly enjoy the most delicious homemade pineapple soda.
