She asked me for a lotus — so I didn’t just put a flower on the ring. I built the ring from one. 🪷 At first glance, you see a 3CT marquise diamond. But the real design begins underneath. The marquise shape naturally carries the silhouette of a lotus petal, so I used that as the starting point for the entire ring. Beneath the center stone, the gold basket opens upward in layers, like lotus petals blooming around the diamond. I wanted the flower to be part of the architecture — not an ornament added at the end. That’s why every curve underneath the stone has a purpose. The petals rise to support the diamond, while the floral lines continue softly into the shoulders of the ring, finished with delicate diamond details. From the top, it feels elegant and refined. Turn it to the side, and the lotus slowly reveals itself. That hidden transformation is my favorite part of this piece. Because to me, custom jewelry isn’t about taking a standard setting and adding a symbol someone loves. It’s about taking that symbol apart — its shape, its movement, its meaning — and rebuilding it into something that can actually be worn. 3 carats on top. A lotus blooming underneath.
