When it comes to St. Louis nightlife, whether it's bars or clubs, motherfuckers hate paying cover. They want everything for the free ski. Motherfuckers do not want to pay if they don't have to or if they can find a way. Let me tell you, last night I was outside outside. I went to Art Bar and I went to Ava. And when I went to Ava, I actually paid cover, which is funny because it really makes up for all the years and years I went to Midwestern wheelhouse, tin roof, Star Bar, and never paid cover. So now I'm funny enough, I'm paying it back. And that's fine. I'm not complaining about it. But it just reminds me of just how like people will just spend like 20, 30 on a drink. I mean, when I was at Art Bar, I spent probably about 90 something dollars on three drinks. And that's fine because I'm having it. But either way, $5 cover, $10 cover. Motherfuckers are turning around and being like, nope. Or they're like, yo bro, remember when we used to hang out in 2016? Miss me with that shit. But either way, like everybody, no matter like what kind of club or what kind of bar you're going to or where you're from, everybody's always trying to get on the free ski. Which is also why we've seen such a rise in these ticketed events. And that's why everything has like an event bright link or a Posh VIP link because they are tired of motherfuckers trying not to pay. And even with that, we know that some people seem to get around that. But either way, it's funny as fuck that just across the board when it comes to St. Louis nightlife, I think we can all agree that nobody wants to pay for shit. And shout out Pepper Lounge because the one time I went to Pepper Lounge on a random Sunday, they charged me $53 for cover. And that's why I'm saying, like, people are tired of motherfuckers trying not to pay.
