Today's my 27th birthday and the only thing that I've never actually done is be on vacation during my birthday. So I just booked a last minute trip to the Bahamas and I'm going to show you guys how much everything cost. When I found out I could take a last minute all inclusive trip to the Bahamas for five days for less than $1,000, I couldn't say no. I think this is the 12th cruise I've ever been on, but my first time on MSC and I honestly don't know if I would ever go back again. But before I tell you why, let's go over the prices. For a five day, four night cruise to the Bahamas, I spent $575 for one room with a drink package. Actually, I take that back because it's not really unlimited because you are limited to 15 alcoholic drinks per day, which is more than enough. Guys, I found the dolphins! Within that drink package, water is not included, so I had to spend an additional $30 on water bottles and I also did an excursion where I got to swim with some dolphins for $164. After I stopped in the Bahamas, we went to Ocean Cay, which is MSC's own private island and there I spent $75 on two chairs and an umbrella. Total, my trip came out to $844, which is a really good price and I really did have a great time. But when I compare it to other cruises I've been on, I would rather pay a little bit more to go on Royal Caribbean and experience better dining, hospitality, and entertainment.
