I’ve been bamboozled by chipotle

I’ve been bamboozled by chipotle. If you’ve been following me for a while, you should be expecting me to say happy Chipotle Sunday. It still is Chipotle Sunday, but I have a story to tell. For some background, I’ve been getting Chipotle every Sunday for probably like three years now, so I made a little series on my page titled Chipotle Sunday where I would unbox my order, talk a little bit about my day, and show my bowl of the evening. Before I proceed, I want to make it clear I’m not claiming to have coined Chipotle Sunday, but I do think I used it a lot on my platform and maybe did start it in some capacity. Now that that disclaimer is over, we can get into the good stuff. Okay, so about a week and a half ago, I got this DM from Chipotle. I literally was jumping up and down screaming, texting everyone I know. I was so happy, so excited. They wanted to use one of my videos. So I replied, I will show you my reply. They wanted to use it without any credit or payment or anything like that. Oh shoot, there’s like a beauty thing on, whatever. Kind of look good, I’ll keep it. I’m going, I’m so distracted by the beauty filter. Anyways, they wanted to use it without any payment or anything like that. So I said I would love to work with you guys, obviously I love Chipotle. I would love to talk about payment or other collaboration, let me know if this works. No response, but they saw it. And then I said again, Hi, just wanted to follow up, would love to work with you guys. No response. Flash to today, Sunday, they have a Chipotle Sunday campaign going, which I assume is why they wanted to use my video. And if you go to this link here, HERE, it links to my video, even though they never responded to my DM. My several DMs. Again, after those DMs, which I’m not going to like show everything, but I haven’t gotten a response. So I guess moral of the story is that was pretty jarring to see the campaign today. I feel like my work was taken for me. I didn’t do anything. I’m not claiming I made up Chipotle Sunday, but they did DM me about it and asked me to be part of it, and then never responded. I don’t know. The end. I’m still eating Chipotle tonight, so.
