How I turned a $13 Hobby Lobby "tapestry" into 36" x 48" custom looking artnI removed the wood pieces using a butter knife to loosen then pulled them apart.nI cut it down to the size I wanted, roughly 37"x22"nI bought an XL canvas and a neutral colored linen blend fabric at Hobby LobbynI wrapped the canvas in the linen fabric (way easier than expected to be honest)nI purchased 32"x40" paper at Blick to act as a mat, I liked the ripped edgesnI pulled strings on the edges of the faux tapestry to give it an aged looknI used tape to secure the art piece to the paper and then the paper to the canvas to ensure there wouldn't be any visible wrinkles. The Gorilla tape worked really well.nFinished putting together my $50 floating frame from Amazon...nNamed the art piece "After the Rain"nEt voilà! Custom oversized art for = $100!
