I shared my husband's great grandma's chewy recipe recently. It's a really cool recipe and it has been passed down for generations. And Deb here asked for me to share the whole recipe. I did speak the recipe in the video, but I wanted to go ahead and have it here so you could screenshot it. I'll list it in the description as well. It is so good. Y'all should definitely try it.

Replying to @Deb 🥰 Great Grandma Bratcher’s Chewies 🤎 So many of you asked for the recipe written out after I shared these last week—so here it is! And yes…you really do beat it for 30 minutes! Trust the great-grandma recipe. 😊 INGREDIENTS • 1 stick butter, softened • 3 eggs • 2 ⅓ cups light brown sugar • 1 Tbsp vanilla • 2 cups self-rising flour • 1 cup chopped pecans • Powdered sugar + sea salt for finishing DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Beat softened butter on medium speed for about 1 minute. 3. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. 4. Add brown sugar and beat on medium for 30 minutes. 5. Add vanilla. 6. Fold in the self-rising flour, then fold in the pecans just until combined. 7. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. 8. Bake for 25–35 minutes, until the center is set and no longer jiggly. 9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and a little sea salt. Let them cool…if you can wait that long. 😂 They’re buttery, chewy, a little nutty and SO good. Save this one—it’s been in our family for generations. 🤎 #famil#familyrecipea#oldfashionedreciped#grandmasrecipedies #baking
