I miss you. It's my mother and father-in-law's anniversary. My mother-in-law passed away about five. And my mother away five years ago. So let's make some bunch first. In law's a little treat tonight. It's her recipe from her memorial cookbook. I will post at the to have. Because she was these darn fudge bars and they're so good. Starting out with three quarters of cold butter, one and 3/4 cup of flour, one and 1/2 c. oatmeal, one cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, a half a teaspoon of vanilla. Mix this together until it's nice. The last time I used a recipe calls for. And my mom for me that actually got me a pastry cutter. So we're just gonna use this to bring it back. This is a minute. Of those desserts that you take to your neighbor's house, house. To every family function. You take it to your local. You take this when your kids ask for treats for school. This is the to your best when she needs me up. This is what just had a and need a sweet treat along cooked meal. When somebody is grieving, to somebody's house and they're celebrating. This is the recipe that you need anytime you a good dessert. That it's starting to get really crumbly. Just to make sure that I've pulled out of the corners perfectly combined. The most important reserve at least this for the top. I actually don't mind a bit crust on the bottom in order to crispy bits on top. So we're gonna, take about a cup and a quarter and set that to the side. You're gonna use to grease the bottom of your pan. Actually put a little bit of just to make have enough to go around. And that's perfect. That's exactly what you want perfectly pressed in. Just set it to the side. In a small saucepan, combine 1 can of sweetened condensed milk. 12 ounces of chocolate chips. I like to do 6 ounces of milk chocolate chips and 6 ounces of semi sweet chocolate chips. Warm this up until everything is perfectly combined. Hi honey, how are you? The most important part, which is two tablespoons of butter. Add that in and mix this. Warm it up and mix it until everything is just melted. Or heat it up too much. So just until it should be nice and glossy. This is just go ahead and mixture right over the crust. Spread that all the edges. Now for the reserved flour mixture and we're just gonna put this on top, but you wanna it stays in clumps. Get this like wonderful crunchy top. To just like press it in my hands and then drop it in these clumps. She's very excited. Just like that. This is gonna 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Alright, go see papa. Cheers. You too.
