404 Police Chief Installs Flock Cameras Without Public Discussion, Crashes Out After Criticism

All of a sudden, I decided to get one to help my community to to help catch the bad guys and I'm getting ridiculed for it. I'm not in my office spying on people. It's my equipment. I don't tell you guys when I buy a new gun. I don't tell you when I buy a rifle. I mean seriously, this is equipment for me to use. You guys want to call and cancel it? Go right ahead. I have no problem, but the next time grandma's missing or your car got stolen or you're missing money and I can't, I can't help you? Sorry. I'm just, I'm just trying to be the guy, I'm trying to do, I have given 20 years to this city. I mean like, like I said, whatever you guys want to do with the Flock cameras you want, you want me to bag them? I'll bag them tomorrow but I have a three-year contract and we'll be obligated to that. I'm sorry you got offended chief. I don't blame you in a lot of ways. I would just add to it that there is a national controversy about them. It isn't just Chetek. But Chetek didn't know about the national controversy until the mayor made a blog. Public discussion for what? That I'm trying to solve crimes? I oughta do background checks on half the people that make comments. I have solved a lot of crimes in this in this town because of people's Ring doorbells, Kay Jay's cameras. And cell phones. Cell phones. People say it's Big Brother. I don't disagree with you.
