Our couch is 82” long and 32” tall at the base. I’ve found since the table sits by the base and not above the cushions I don’t have issues hitting it. 2) Materials. I went to @homedepot and got two brace packs with screws included. Then an employee helped me pick out two 2”x8” boards that were 10’ long. They were so nice there, he looked through the stack and found a nice one for me since I told him I don’t have a sander at home. I got one cut to 82” and the other cut into three pieces that were 32” long for the legs. 3) Assembly. Drill pilot holes first then screws. You don’t have to butt the legs right up to the edge like I did, you could leave some space. Whatever look you prefer! This one is very bare bones because I was going for minimal effort 😂 you could sand and stain it and it would look much nicer. Some people cut holes into it for outlets too! But I just had my drill kit to work with. 4) Decorate! The fun part 🥰 i add plants, books, and warm lamps to make the space feel extra cozy.
