You broke your arm so you went straight to A&E. They tell you to sit down and wait an hour. A nurse finally calls you in, takes your blood, checks your heart rate, asks how bad the pain is, then sends you straight back to the waiting room. Another hour passes. By now your arm is throbbing, you can't get comfortable and you're watching people who arrived after you get called in before you. Finally, the doctor calls you in. You think you're actually getting treated now. Instead, he spends 5 minutes taking down your details while your arm feels like it's about to fall off. He sends you for an X-ray. You get it done, and guess where you go? Back to the waiting room. Two hours pass. At this point, you've memorised every poster on the wall, checked the clock about 50 times and your phone's nearly dead. Then finally, they call you back in. The doctor checks the X-ray, confirms the fracture, puts your arm in a cast. 15 minutes later, you're done. You walk outside relieved, check your phone and realise you've just spent 6 hours in A&E for 15 minutes of actual treatment.
