I’m 29 years old, and I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that: 1. I still don’t know what I’m doing with my life. I know what I’m passionate about career-wise, but I don’t know where I’m headed outside of that, and I always thought I would by now. 2. I’m a bit of a workaholic. I struggle to completely rest. Even when I’m scrolling, I feel guilty because I feel like I should always be brainstorming content for my own account. 3. I’m a highly sensitive person. It takes me a long time to process things that to most people, may not seem like a big deal. And although I’m learning to accept this part of myself and see it as a gift—sometimes I still feel shame around how long it takes me to work through things. 4. I don’t drink enough water, like at all lol (and I’m a fitness coach… so I need to do better). 5. I struggle to make decisions on my own. I often have to ask like 7 people before I can come to a verdict. Cultivating deeper self-trust is something I’m still working out. 6. I’m not tech-savvy and I get overwhelmed really easily when I’m trying to learn something new. I’d rather use an old system I’m familiar with than go through the struggle of learning a new, more-advanced system. 7. Uncertainty stresses me out a lot, and I don’t love “going with the flow”. My way of dealing with this has always been to try and control everything around me to increase the likelihood of the outcome I want. But life’s shown me (the hard way) that regardless of how hard I try to control everything, sometimes I won’t get the outcome I want and hard things will happen regardless… So instead of trying to manufacture certainty, I’m slowly learning to hand it all over to God and cultivate a nervous system that can feel safe internally, no matter what’s going on externally. All in all, I’m just trying to figure life out, and still learning and experiencing as I go. If any of this resonates, follow along and let’s grow together. Appreciate you for reading!🤍
