Yeah, I don't get paid for it, but I've just got so much work to do. If your lunch break isn't an unpaid hour and you don't take it, you are effectively giving your employer an extra day's work every eight working days. Over 47 working weeks, that's around 29 extra working days a year. Almost six weeks of unpaid additional unpaid work. That's more than your entire five week annual leave allowance. Please. Go on a walk, get some steps in, do your life admin, read a book, meet a friend, grab a coffee, go and sit in the toilet.
