Transcript
Can I just say it is not a flex to not have time to eat lunch during your workday. And it's not a flex if some of your cross-functional teammates or especially members of your exec or company are getting on calls with you and saying, oh, sorry, I haven't had a chance to eat all day. Or, oh, I'm trying to grab a protein bar or something quickly. Your company should be prioritizing your health and your ability to have lunch and take breaks. This is such a subtle but big red flag for my opinion for a company that is actually more on the side of a toxic workplace. This includes when teammates, especially in the same time zone, obviously there are exceptions to this, schedule you during your lunch hour or during periods of your calendar that you've blocked off. It's just that little tinge of disrespect that from my opinion festers into a more toxic work environment.
