We just had the most perfect day trip to Red Hook and Brooklyn. So here's Red Hook day trip itinerary. Everyone took the ferry but we took the train to our first stop, Hometown Bar B Que, of course. The wait, I'm not gonna lie, the wait was like an hour long, but they brought us frozen margaritas while we were waiting. This food was, this food was to die for. I am a big back, but it was so good. I got the ribs, but it was so good. Right next door is Brooklyn Crab. It was a little more party vibes, but super fun. It was also one hour wait for a table. We put our names down before we went to Hometown Bar B Que. Got some spritzes and some oysters. These oysters were meaty. Also FYI, if you want to get a table, you have to get an entree. So we moved on to Bar Mario. Found of spritzes. Red Hook does have a little strip of cute shops and little toy stores. We were too food coma to go at this point. Next time.
