Coming from someone with plastic and want to stainless steel, it makes all the difference. Like there is no smell absorption. Second, you need the litter liners. They're like plastic trash bags. You can get them on Amazon. Honestly, just makes changing the litter easier, but also I feel like it helps with any smell absorption. And they're like $5 for like 100. They're worth it. Third, and arguably the most important, is crystal litter. I like all the brands. Something about the difference between the crystal compared to like the clay or the pellets or like whatever people use has zero scent. And you could track your cat's health. Like why wouldn't you want to do that? It has no smell. Zero smell. So if you have been to someone's house and you're like, oh my gosh, it smells like cat, I could never own a cat because it stinks.
