Your back might be small because of your lats. It might be because your forearms keep giving up first! You do pull-ups, rows, lap pulldowns. You train your back like a warrior. But if your grip quits before your back does, you're leaving growth on the table every single workout. Let's break it down. Skipping forearms is the biggest beginner mistakes. Of those silent muscles people notice instantly. Like a thick neck or visible abs. You can have big biceps, a huge chest. But the moment you throw on a t-shirt, suddenly nobody can tell even all your gains suddenly disappear, leaving those hanging noodles you call forearms. Train them properly. And suddenly, your handshake alone starts making people rethink their life choices. Now, how do you get bigger, thicker wrists? Here's the bad news. Your wrist bones. There's just bone, a little muscle, and skin. Not much growing happens there. But here's the good news. Forearm muscles can grow like crazy. And that's what makes your wrists look thicker. Even if your biceps don't grow. And suddenly every t-shirt fits like it was tailored just for you. So today I'm giving you five exercises that cover every one of those functions, that look thick even when you're doing absolutely nothing. Alright. Now that your forearms finally make sense, here's exactly how to train them the right way. #1 Pronated Bicep Curls. Curls, the brachioradialis builder. Dumbbells, bags, water bottles, doesn't matter. Just pick one and do a bicep curl with a pronated grip. And suddenly, your brachio radialis has no choice but to keep the movement slow and clean. Brush it. And patience exists. Do this consistently. And your forearms will start looking noticeably thicker from the side. #2 Dead Hangs. Brutal. Simple. One of the fastest ways to build grip strength. Grab a bar and just hang. Like your mom hangs clothes outside. No bar? Use a sturdy doorway. Because if it isn't sturdy enough, a dead hang, free fall. And trust me, that'll definitely be your last workout. You can seconds. Either you're lying or you're already a beast. #3 Towel Hangs. Feel easy? Meet their evil twin. By grabbing a towel instead of a bar, you force your hands, forearms, and brachio radialis to work much harder. This movement lights up your forearms in a way a normal bar simply can't. 20-30s. Start with short holds because, trust me, your forearms will tap out fast. #4 Rice Bucket Drills. Old school, still ridiculously effective. Open, close, twist, dig, repeat. Don't just poke. Move with intention. This trains dozens of small forearm muscles that almost 1% train them. Nobody ever targets. Part? It's cheap, effective, and you can do it while watching YouTube. #5 Fingertip Push-ups. If you couldn't find a bucket of rice, don't worry. This is one of the hardest forearm exercises you can do using only your body weight. It builds insane finger strength, wrist stability, and crushing grip. Yeah. Harder than they look. Easy at first, but around rep 8, your fingers start screaming in languages you don't even speak. Keep your fingers tight. Press through your fingertips, not your palms. If it's too hard, drop to your knees. No excuses. Master these five. Stay consistent for a few months. Won't be the your physique anymore. Still skinny with no muscle details even after months of training. Watch this next video. It'll save you months of doing the wrong things.
