Loewe sandals

Why it worked

The video taps into the appreciation for subtle luxury and clever design, appealing to fashion-conscious viewers who value aesthetics over overt branding. The creator's enthusiastic endorsement and clear explanation of the design choice make it relatable and shareable.

Summary

The video highlights the subtle and integrated branding of the Loewe logo on their sandals. The creator praises this design choice, noting how the logo is disguised as part of the shoe's aesthetic, making it a brilliant design element.

Structure

1Introduction of Loewe sandals
2Pointing out the subtle logo placement
3Explaining the design philosophy behind the subtle logo
4Praising the design as brilliant

Product placement

Loewe: ACTS - the brand name is displayed on the shoes, and the video discusses its placement as a design element. Removing it would change the discussion about the brand's design strategy. Loewe: APPEARS - the brand name is visible on the shoes. Removing it would not change what happens in the video, but it is part of the core discussion.

You see where it says Loewe, right? I don't mean here, and I don't mean here, but I mean here - Loewe. Loewe said: “We’re going to put the name of the brand on the shoe and you are not even going to notice it.” If you still don't see it. This is an L - O - W - E at the end. Oh, this is so smart. It is a big logo that you don't even notice. But this is what I love about design. The word LOEWE is so subtle and transparent that you think about it as the part of the shoe, and the logo is disguised as a part of the design. I personally find it brilliant.
