💧 Hydration is not just about drinking water for me anymore. I have to take @Hydralyte Australia Hydralyte, usually mixing 3–4 tablets in around 200 ml of water. Since I have an ileostomy, many foods are now restricted or limited for me. On top of that, during chemotherapy, my body loses a significant amount of fluid. In my case, more than 1.5 litres of liquid comes out through my ileostomy every day. Some days, it can reach almost 2 litres. 😔 When the body loses this much fluid, it can also lose important electrolytes. So simply drinking water is not always enough to replace what my body is losing. That’s why, during chemotherapy, I have to be extremely careful about my fluid and electrolyte intake. My doctor and dietitian have recommended Hydralyte to help me maintain hydration and replace some of the electrolytes I lose. 💧 Last time, when I lost a very large amount of fluid, I became so weak and dehydrated that I couldn’t continue my chemotherapy as planned. That experience showed me just how important staying hydrated is for me. ❤️🩹 Managing chemotherapy + an ileostomy together is not easy. Every single day, I have to think about what I can eat, how much fluid I’m taking in, and how much my body is losing. Some days my body feels completely exhausted, and emotionally it can become overwhelming too… but I’m still trying to stay strong, keep smiling, and continue this fight. ❤️🩹 Because my fight is not over yet. 🙏 Please keep me in your prayers. May Allah give my body the strength to tolerate this treatment, make the medicines work effectively, and bless me with complete healing. 🤲❤️ This is not a paid or sponsored video. I’m simply sharing a product that has become part of my hydration routine during my cancer journey. 💧❤️ #CancerTok #CancerJourney #IleostomyLife #ChemoJourney #CancerWarrior
