Someone just turned the entire road network of planet Earth into a driving game. No download. No install. Just open a browser, pick any street anywhere, and drive.
The engine pulls road geometry from OpenStreetMap and layers satellite elevation data on top, generating terrain in real time as you move. It works because OpenStreetMap has two decades of crowd-sourced road data covering virtually every country on Earth.
Multiplayer races, dynamic day and night lighting, real hills and elevation. The developer calls it Need for Speed meets Google Maps. That's exactly what it is.
