There is a chain of community clinics all through Southern California, Los Angeles, in Pomona, in San Bernardino, in Hemet and in offering community healthcare services at no cost. They also offer mental health and dental care. I was a patient at St. John's Community Clinic in Compton and it is a place I brag about and recommend to my friends all the time when they say they don't have health insurance. They drew blood there, they gave me my medication there, they did my consultations there and I never received a surprise bill. Staff and doctors were kind, very welcoming and very helpful.
