Tell me why I just found out that if you give birth to your baby in California, your baby automatically gets $100+ just for being born. I didn't know this prior, so let's kind of talk about it. Recently, I received a letter in the mail from CalKIDS, which is the organization or program that started this. And what it is, is it's a program designed to help children with their future with college and savings. So, it's a college savings account essentially, and they give you up to $175. Now, I was automatically awarded $100, and then an extra $25 just for signing up through that QR code that they sent through the letter. And in that letter, there's a unique code that is specific to your child that you need to sign up. I didn't receive the letter until maybe five months after I gave birth, so that's just a PSA for you guys. And I know they started this around 2022 to present time that this applies to. It does not matter what your income is. Everyone that has a baby born in California will get it automatically. And then I believe that if your kid is a toddler now and so forth, and they go to a public school setting, and they are low income, you can earn an additional like $1,500 or up to $1,500 just to help your kid save for college and so forth. This is a really good initiative program, and it's free money that goes for your child. So, this is just a PSA to let you guys know since I didn't know about this prior, but I love you guys. Bye.
