So the Montgomery police department released an official police report that confirmed that Alisha Rushin was in fact the driver of her 2013 Kia Sorento SUV that not only took her life but the life of 20-year-old marine Landon Dunn. The only survivor in the crash was the passenger in Rushin's car, a female. Although the full accident report has not yet been released pending an investigation, their speed and the toxicology report of her alcohol levels is not yet confirmed. Although the speed has not been confirmed, it has been reported that she was driving at excess of 100 miles an hour on the wrong side of the road. And look, I know that many of you were inspired by this young woman on social media. But at the end of the day, right is right and wrong is wrong. This was an extremely irresponsible thing for this young woman to do. Now she's paid the ultimate price for her life and taking the life of somebody who was just trying to get home to his family. Not to mention leaving his four young kids to pick up the pieces after losing their mom. From this new information we have received, this was not just a car accident, this was a choice. A lot of you young people can learn from this. Use this as a cautionary tale. Calling Uber. This was by far the worst possible outcome for everybody involved. Condolences to all of the family members of these two young people. Rest in peace to Landon Dunn and to Alicia.
