Original caption

At what point does someone stage an intervention for a sprayed edge addiction? Asking for a friend. A whole lot of newness at @The Works at the moment, and there’s a whole lot more on the horizon too. #bookhaul #theworkshaul #newbooks #sprayededges #booksbooksbooks

6Final review of the collection

Product placement

The Works (a) ACTS: the creator visits the store to purchase books, displays the store's bag, and explicitly recommends the store's current inventory of books with sprayed edges. Removing the store name would change the video's premise as a store-specific haul.

Okay. So I've heard there's loads of new things out at The Works. I'm gonna go and see what they've got and probably get some stuff. I'm back. Let me show you everything that I got. First up, Christmas Tree Farm. Do already own this? Yes. Does my version have a sprayed edge? No. Does this one? Yes. Look at it. So stunning. I love it, love it so, so, so much. If you haven't read this, great book. Okay, next up, we've got a Freida McFadden re-release. This one's got a beautiful sprayed edge. I'm really excited for this. Haven't actually read this one, so I can't wait. Then we have Throne of Ice and Blood by Marion Blackwood. I haven't actually read the first one in the series yet. It's been on my TBR for ages, but I thought I'd grab this because again, absolutely stunning. You'll sense a theme here. I picked up basically every new sprayed edge that The Works have come out with. So, so, so beautiful. Okay, and then finally, we have these two books here, The Lies We Steal and The Truth We Burn. I haven't actually heard of these series before, but they look so pretty, and look at the sprayed edge. Here you go. Let's do a slight repositioning, but look, absolutely beautiful. Honestly, The Works are killing it at the moment with their sprayed edges. Just look. I am so happy to add these to the collection.
