This is why I make my pots like this. When your plant needs a bigger pot, you normally have to disturb the entire root system and possibly take apart the moss pole. Not with this. I simply cut the planter and peel it away. The roots stay undisturbed. The plant stays attached to the pole. The moss pole stays completely intact! This looks planter away. The entire pole is still sitting securely with system it. Then I just place the planter and the entire moss pole and plant together into a bigger planter. No dismantling. No disturbing the roots. No rebuilding from scratch. Just cut, peel, and lift.
