I forgot I put a root ball in this plant 😅 Welp, time to chop ✂️ #houseplants #PlantTok #plantcare #planthacks #plantsoftiktok Okay, let's pop this baby open. Oh my god. And I put moss in there. Well, the moss is going to be impossible to get out. I'm not getting that out. Well, I guess today's the day we're gonna chop her. My internodal spacing on this plant is like so spread out. It's gonna be hard to figure out where to cut her between this leaf and where this aerial root shoots out. I might need better shears for this. We got it. I don't know how she's so spread out like this. Hopefully by changing her light source, I can get them to be closer. I'm gonna throw some cinnamon on this top cut. It's a natural anti-fungus, anti-fungicide. Not anti-fungus side. My only other issue is I'm gonna have to cut off these two bottom leaves to be able to plant it deep enough in the soil. I'm gonna be left with like the three top leaves. Which is unfortunate because all these leaves are beautiful. I'm gonna cut this leaf off because it's just like, you know, these two leaves are nice and close together. I don't know. Let's see how it does first. And I am going to take the bottom cut out of this ceramic pot because what the hell was I thinking? Clearly it was doing just fine. Let's up pot it slightly into one of these clear pots. I can place the top cut into the ceramic pot so algae doesn't grow in the clear pot. I'm not going to keep both of these. I'm probably going to sell one. I'm probably going to keep the top. The bottom is gonna be way too big to ship. This might have to be like a local pickup only. If you're located in Rhode Island, let me know if you want the butt cut of my Philodendron Billietiae by the way.
