Today we're going to be doing Dolly Parton makeup. Makeup routine she did when she was a teenager, which involves matches, flower, and berries. I've actually been wanting to try out this makeup for a while now. And obviously with her passing, I feel like this is a great time to remember her and follow her old makeup routine. So she talked about it many times. When she was younger, she was not allowed to wear makeup. So she would just use things she had around the house. The first thing she'd do is use pokeberries for lipstick and for blush and for lipstick. I do not know where to get pokeberries. So I got blueberries instead. And we're gonna see how this works. I was a little scared because it's not red inside, but it is turning red. I also said that she would pinch her cheeks over and over again until they hurt to add some color. Which I would do this when I was younger as well. That totally worked. Now we're going to do it for our lips. I'm pretty sure blueberries can kill you right now because they're recalled, but we're risking it for the makeup look. She would use a burnt match for her eyebrows and for her beauty mark. I don't know if I've ever lit a match before. I honestly don't know if I have, but I feel like it's pretty straightforward. I'm going to do two so that we have a backup. While we let that cool off, we're going to go in with our powder, which she said she would use flour. I feel like I need more blush before we set it in place. I also have some frozen blueberries that I feel like might make a better stain. So we're going to do this. It's a little patchy. Honestly, who needs a $20 lip stain when you have blueberries? She said she also used it for her beauty marks. So let's see if we can do this. I'm going to cheat a little bit and use a brush. Tap off the excess. I'll set my T zone with it. So that I don't get oily today. Guys, am I going to break out from this? Next up is eyebrows. She'd look the end of the match and then use that to fill in her brow. Lookie, that's working. It is not taste good though. I feel like this is my perfect eyebrow shade. She said she also used it for her beauty marks. So let's see if we can do this. I think she also used it for eyeliner. I don't know if I burn myself on this eye or if I gave myself a splinter, but it hurts really, really bad. Beauty is pain, guys. I think I'm getting somewhere with this one. Okay. And then she would use the match for eyeliner. I think that's my perfect eyeliner. This is my finished Dolly Parton makeup look using blueberries, flour, and matches. Honestly, for the time, I feel like this did the trick. My eyes are not tough enough for this yet, but I think if I did over and over again. But yeah, let me know what you guys think. Bye.
