Cyberdeck

This is a Raspberry Pi and this is my entire closet on the floor because I'm building a Cyberdeck outfit generator inspired by Cher's closet app and Clueless. After setting up the hardware and software front end, I photographed every piece of clothing I owned and labeled it with metadata. So this is how the matching algorithm works. When I pick an occasion like work, it generates every possible top and bottom pair. Basically a Cartesian product of my closet. Then it filters out anything that obviously does not fit. So party top, sweatpants, or short skirts removed from the work option. Next, it scores the remaining outfits. So do the colors work together, do the silhouettes balance, do the styles and fabrics make sense together, and so on. The best scoring outfits go into a small pool and the app picks one randomly. So it gives a good outfit without repeating the exact same look every time. For the final reveal, I made a wireframe animation that uses my face and body reference to generate the selected outfit on me. And this is the Cyberdeck setup. I had this case and trinkets laying around and bought some fake moss from Amazon to place under the keyboard. Now it feels like a real Cyberdeck.
