My favorite two questions I always ask at the end of the interview that always secures a offer (Manipulative edition) if an interviewer asks "do you have any questions for me?" you say hmm "I can't think of any right now" or "you already answer my questions" then you're not getting the job offer. You should always always always be asking questions. Here are two questions I always ask that result in me in almost an offer every time. Number one: "if I was an intern there what characteristics or what should I do that would make me a very successful and productive intern" this question is a bit manipulative as you're asking the interviewer to imagine if you were already working there plus the interviewer can see that you're trying to already become a very good intern day one cause you're interviewing right now. Number two: "what are some technical challenges and difficulties is your team currently facing? What is done in these times of challenges and how does collaboration occur?" This question is great because the interviewer can see that you're already trying to understand the problem stack that they have. You can further relate it to the problems that you have. For example, if they're working on this specific bug and you work on something similar, you can connect it and say that you're really passionate about it. So they can see that the problems that you face is similar to what they have. And if you're passionate about it, why wouldn't they hire you? You're perfect for a team. And that's probably like exactly what they're looking for.
