I made my own digital camera. This is part 3. This is part three, the finale. Yesterday I got on my code working with the parts and today we're gonna put them in the case and solder everything together. I started with the display and then attached it to the ESP32 and just to make sure I plugged it in and it still works. So now let's do all the buttons. Each button has one side that connects to ground and the other to a pin on the microcontroller. First I cut a wire and then tin the wire. And then you just solder it to the button arms. I'm not great at soldering, but then it works. So now I'm gonna do that for all four buttons and look how pretty. And here's where I realized I'm a dummy and I wouldn't be able to pull the wires through since I soldered them together. So I had to remove the solder, pull the wires through and then do it all over again. I'm connecting the microcontroller pins. I also added a switch with a battery. So if we turn this on, the screen still works. And now my favorite part, everything on the inside is just glued down. And now if I turn this on. LOOK AT IT!!!! It's so cute. The pictures and everything work and you can see your gallery. This was such a fun project and now I have a really cute keychain to add to my purse.
