Replying to @user3683925851784 🍝 my lasagne recipe 🍅 bolognese 500g beef mince 1 brown onion, finely diced 🧅 4 garlic cloves 🧄 2 carrots 🥕 2 celery sticks 1 zucchini 🥒 4 mushrooms 🍄 1 heaped tbsp tomato paste 1 can crushed tomatoes 🍅 1 jar passata + ¾ jar water 2 to 3 bay leaves 1 to 2 tsp oregano 🌿 paprika + mixed spice salt + pepper 🧂 ¼ cup milk 🥛 ⅓ cup parmesan 🧀 olive oil cook the onion in olive oil for 5 to 8 mins until soft. add the mince and let it properly brown, then add the garlic. stir through the tomato paste and cook for 2 to 3 mins, then add the crushed tomatoes. add all your finely diced veggies, followed by the passata, water, bay leaves + seasonings. let it simmer low and slow for at least 1 to 2 hours, or even longer if you have the time 🤌🏼 the longer it cooks, the richer the flavour. towards the end, stir through the milk + parmesan. 🥛 béchamel 75g butter 🧈 75g flour 750ml milk 🥛 handful of mozzarella 🧀 salt melt the butter, whisk in the flour and cook for 1 to 2 mins. slowly whisk in the milk until smooth + thickened, then season with salt and stir through the mozzarella. 🧀 assemble start with a thin layer of bolognese, then add your lasagne sheets, bolognese + béchamel. keep repeating your layers, then finish with the remaining béchamel + plenty of mozzarella on top 🤍 bake at 180°c fan forced for 35 to 45 mins until golden + bubbling. then the important part, let it sit for 20 mins before cutting. trust me 😂 seasoning measurements are very much done with my heart so adjust to your taste 🤎
