This is one of my most complimented fragrances by women. And I appreciated way more when a woman compliments me than when a man does. As a man, why are you smelling me? This is Glimmer by Estée Lauder. It's an ambery floral with a gourmand twist. When I first sprayed this, it took me back to when I was studying in Paris and every morning I would walk past the boulangerie, which is just a fancy name for a bakery, and I had these little rose-flavored French cakes called madeleines. Something in here smells just like that, but in a more elevated, wearable way. When you first spray it, you get a lot of rose and raspberry, but it's not your typical rose. This is like a sweet and creamy macaroon rose. And the raspberry adds a juicy tartness to the scent. There's orange flower in the heart, which adds this bright freshness and slightly honey twist. The patchouli and amber accords are what grounds this fragrance and what you're going to be smelling after hours of wearing it. This fragrance really gives me pretty girl energy. It's a very feminine scent. A really cool add-on is when you place this bottle next to other Glimmer bottles, it creates a pattern. So cute. If you're looking for a sophisticated, bright, elevated, feminine gourmand, this is the one, especially if you're on the fence about sweet fragrances. This is a great introduction.
