Trips you need to take in your 20's for under $1000. These are three trips you need to take in your 20s, all for under $1,000. The first trip is going to be El Salvador, in which you get a flight for under $400 from a lot of cities in the U.S. I put three right here, so you see that I'm not lying. And then for accommodation, if you're staying in a hostel, it could be anywhere between, like, six to ten dollars a night. And if you want a hotel room, it's gonna be anywhere from like 20 to 40 dollars a night. Just depends on how bougie you are. And activities are also very affordable, as you could do the Santa Ana Volcano hike plus the lake of Ticate all in one day for about 40 dollars in a guided tour, which for me, that is very, very reasonable for all that you get. So just overall very affordable country to go to. And you should not be spending over $1,000, including flights if you're staying there for a week. The next one is going to be Mexico, and specifically Mexico City, for which you get a flight for a lot of places in the U.S. for under $400 and even closer to 300, obviously because this is a way bigger airport than El Salvador one, so you're gonna find a lot more flights to get here. And then in Mexico, you get hostel night for about 10 dollars. Uh, ten dollars a night. And then a hotel room from like again the same 20 to 30 dollars a night. And activities in Mexico City can also be very affordable. For example, if you wanna go to a soccer match, it's only about 455 pesos, which is about 25 to 30 U.S. dollars, which is extremely affordable for a sporting event if you're comparing the prices to the U.S. And then you can also do the uh Teotihuacan uh, day tour, which is about like 50 to 60 dollars for a whole day tour including lunch and a couple other things. Uh, but yeah, overall very affordable to do all this in one trip if you just keep it under a week. And for food, you can easily get by with like 15 dollars a day. Just stick to like street food or local restaurants and you could make this very affordable. The last one is going to be Puerto Rico, for which you get a flight anywhere between 100 to 200 dollars. I couldn't even find anything over 200 dollars. So if you look the right way, you will find it for under $200. And accommodation is gonna be like a hundred bucks a night for hotel. Airbnb, if you're coming with friends, it's gonna be even cheaper. Uh, the only thing I would say in Puerto Rico is kind of expensive is the food. Uh, but you can still make this cheap if you really try. And then uh, transportation, Ubers in the uh, Metro area are super cheap. Or if you wanna rent a car, it's like 50 bucks a day, 50, 70 bucks a day. So it's not an expensive trip at all.
