Flights are going to eat up a little bit of the budget of probably about a third or so. at 3:50 for hostels you're looking at around $14 a night or so. and if I were you for food I'd budget more than likely around $21 a day. for to do you're going to want to spend a couple days around Santa Ana. you can hike Santa Ana Volcano and see the turquoise crater lake. another thing to do is also visit the Maya ruins and after the mall you can also head towards the route of Dallas Flores after that for you. I probably spend a couple days wandering the coast around like El Tanco or El Zonte. 10 out of 10 experience in El Salvador is also to take a surf lesson. obviously while you're there you want to eat as many pupusas as absolutely possible. and to wrap up the day you're gonna watch the sunset along the Pacific. don't really try to see the whole country in one trip just because it looks a little small on Google Maps. and if I were you I'd probably do Santa Ana that way you get like a nice little base along the coast instead of just checking in and out of hotels every day. second, I'm going to be sending you to Colombia. Medellin specifically the flight is going to be around like 3:50 or so which is quite standard for where the hostels. I would budget around $15 or so a night. and then for food similarly around $21 or so a day. so before you've really done anything you still have a good amount of like $500 or so left to spend. and if I were you I'd take the metro to metro cable over the city and do probably like a more locally guided tour of Comuna Trece so you can actually understand a lot of like the different like history behind some of the things that you're seeing. in Medellin I would spend a day at Parque Arvi. make sure you save enough time to go to Guatapé. you're gonna want to climb El Pinio, which really just get some of the best views overall at Guatapé of Colombia. probably avoid El Poblado just cause that's like really popular and there are like more cooler places to start like Laureles unless you're just absolutely obsessed with like going to different restaurants and different nightlife. then El Poblado might be like really good for you. third recommendation I'm gonna give you is Dominican Republic. but we're not gonna stay at an all inclusive resort cause we don't do that around here. I'm going to be sending you to Santo Domingo. normally for Dominican Republic you're probably gonna be looking at around like 3:50 or so for a flight. I would say for hostels you can prepare to spend about 16 or so dollars if you're traveling on a budget. and I would be prepared to spend around like 25 to 30 dollars a day for food or so I would say. you're probably gonna spend your first couple days exploring Zona Colonial and then you're gonna walk Calle de Damas. I might be getting that name wrong. and you're gonna see for the lazy Osama and also the cathedral. then you're gonna spend the afternoon walking Los Trazos all host where you can see a lot of like really cool underground like caves and crystal clear lakes. it's really cool basically like inside the city. just to really keep in mind that a lot of people don't think about is Punta Cana is not Dominican Republic. it's much more than that. definitely do a day or two at an all inclusive resort but make sure you get off of it just so you can really get a feel for what the cities and the country is all about.
