Day 59 of me quitting my job & moving to Ghana 🇬🇭❤️ First day of school 🏫

Some experiences truly cannot be compared, y'all. My kids started their first day of school since they've been here in Ghana and I was actually quite surprised by how much they enjoyed it. They've been settling in, making their little friend groups and y'all, listen, my kids may not want to come back to the states. Oh, and if you're new here, I'm Jam. I'm just a girly who moved to Ghana after coming for a friend's wedding and never went back home. And now I'm opening a hair and adornment studio and I'm helping others out there just like me find their perfect home here in Ghana too. No, but seriously, y'all, my kids are really enjoying their time here that I honestly think they will only want to come home just to visit. Genuinely speaking, I have never seen them this excited about school. So that tells you a lot just right there. On top of that, the curriculum that they're getting here is worth every single penny. Or at least every peso that we're paying, okay? They'll be getting real-world application skills, technology, and even my first grader is about to be speaking French, y'all. Like, what are we saying here? We, we wanna sign me up. I don't know if that's correct, but listen, guess what? She can teach me. And the cherry on top of all this is their grandparents were there to see them. So it was, mmm, chef's kiss for an experience, y'all. Things have been pretty hectic for me, but this was just the grounding that I needed. Anywho, I got to get back to it because y'all know we're back on this regular schedule, y'all.
