A 15-member Indian family was blacklisted by an airline after setting up a full buffet during a flight without considering the other passengers. The large family was traveling together for a vacation, but they were worried they would not enjoy the food served on the plane. Instead, they prepared their own meal and carried a large container filled with curry, naan, rice, and several side dishes. Once the plane reached a stable altitude, members of the family removed their seat belts and began walking around the cabin. They handed out plates and cutlery, served curry and rice, and happily ate together as if inside a restaurant. However, the strong smell quickly spread throughout the cabin. Several passengers said they could not tolerate it and complained to the flight attendants. Some were also upset because family members repeatedly moved through the aisle while serving the food. When the cabin crew asked the family to stop, they refused and argued that they had the freedom to eat however they wanted. The disagreement soon became heated, and a conflict broke out between the family, other passengers, and the crew. After the plane landed, police were called to investigate the incident. The airline later placed the entire family on its blacklist, meaning they would no longer be allowed to travel with the company.
