This sounded fake at first. But did you know that in China, expired items are neither thrown away nor relabeled with new expiry dates and resold? It's actually a proper industry earning crores. In China, expired items from stores and bakeries, bread, biscuits, Maggi, cookies are collected and sent to a factory. Inside the factory, one machine first removes the wrappers and passes the items to a second machine where everything gets mixed together and converted into a fine powder. That powder then goes into a dry chamber where its moisture is brought down to almost zero so its shelf life increases. And here's the most interesting part, this powder is sold at solid prices to goat, chicken, fish and other animal farms where it's used as feed. Meaning the thing that's just waste in India is a profitable business in China. Follow for more shocking facts.
